Financial planner. Former Division I athlete. Same season of life as the families and professionals he serves.
I've been in the financial planning industry since 2018, and what I enjoy most is the opportunity to learn other people's stories. Understanding the people I work with, your goals, your worries, and what you're building toward, is what makes a successful plan possible. So before any planning happens, I listen.
Before this, I played Division I basketball, and a sports background taught me many of the same things good planning demands: perseverance, delayed gratification, coachability, and quieting the noise to focus. I don't lead with the athlete story, but you'll feel it in how we work. Consistent. Accountable. In your corner.
I'm in a similar season of life as most of my clients: growing a family and building a career. So when I say "this came up for a client (or for me) last month," it's not a textbook example. It's the chapter we're all living.
Outside of work, you'll find me with my wife and our two kids, hanging with friends, playing and coaching basketball, and staying active.
Open and honest dialogue, from the very first interaction onward.
Hours, not days. A Saturday email never waits until Wednesday.
If you can't repeat it back, it wasn't advice yet. Everything gets translated.
Friendly nudges on the things you said you wanted to do.
The athlete's habit: reps, patience, and trusting the process.
No pressure, no pitch, no homework required. Just thirty minutes to talk about where you are, where you're headed, and whether I'm the right person to help you get there.
